Dominicans can plug into the US Black Friday sales via the Internet, but local stores want to keep the pesos here, too.
As a result, the larger stores are already advertising their Black Friday super discount sales. Corripio is advertising all day (Friday, 29 November from 7am to 12 midnight) supersales for 29 November and Office Depot says that from Thursday, 28 November from 11:59pm to Friday 29 November at 11:59pm. Office Depot says that Banco Popular customers can shop from 10pm.
La Curacao is advertising that they will open on Thursday, 28 November at 11:59pm for all day sales from 29, 30 November and 1 December.
Santo Domingo Motors is advertising special sales on their Chevrolet, Nissan, Suzuki and Infiniti brands vehicles.
Expect major sales at the big malls n Agora, Sambil, Galerias 360, La Sirena as all join in on this big shopping day.
