President Mejia to Washington, D.C.

President Hipolito Mej?a leaves this afternoon for an official three-day visit to Washington, D.C. 
On the agenda is a Tuesday, 20 May 11 am meeting with President George Bush at the Oval Office of the White House. The List?n Diario reports that the President will be meeting Secretary of State Colin Powell, National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice and officers of the US Treasury. This is Me?a?s third visit to Washington in two years. 
He is traveling with US Ambassador in the Dominican Republic Hans Hertell, Foreign Relations Minister Frank Guerrero Prats, Industry & Commerce Minister Sonia Guzman de Hernandez, Technical Secretary of the Presidency Carlos Despradel; press secretary Luis Gonz?lez Fabra; president of the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications, Orlando Jorge Mera and the director of the Office for Promotion of Investments and Exports, Danilo del Rosario, among others. 
The official delegation will be staying at the Hotel Willard Inter-Continental. 
Mejia is expected to arrive to Washington at 5 pm at Dulles International Airport. His departure is set for late afternoon on Wednesday. 
During his stay in Washington, his agenda will include meetings with Enrique Iglesias, president of the Interamerican Development Bank; US congressmen, Mel Mart?nez, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Develoment; Tom Ridge, the Secretary of Homeland Security; and with Robert Zoellick, US Trade Representative.
