Construction conflict at Citibank Tower

The Citibank Tower and Acropolis Commercial Center on Winston Churchill Avenue has made headlines in the past for its conflicts with neighbors over the installation of a large power plant. Now, construction has been stopped totally at what would be the city’s tallest building. Brownsville, the owner of the building maintains a dispute with the builder Consorcio Ingo-Sercitec over contractual differences. El Caribe reports that the building consortium Ingo-Sercitec was evicted on 13 June from the construction site after it sued Brownsville for supposed contractual infractions.
