A 21-year old bride, Yenny Diaz, who had disappeared the day before her wedding showed up on Sunday at around 6 pm. Seemingly distraught and anxious, she walked into the San Lucas clinic in Gazcue where her husband-to-be, Socrates Sanchez works. He was not there at the time. There she was interned after physicians found her over anxious, suffering from a high level of dehydration and sunburns. The medics say she showed no signs of physical abuse. Reportedly, Diaz had traveled to southwestern San Juan de la Maguana in search of an aunt who had died 20 years ago.
