The finance, technical and general work commissions of the Pan American Sports Organization are meeting in Santo Domingo 2-5 August to prepare for the 39th Assembly of the Pan American Sports Organization. The assembly of 42 representatives of regional Olympic committees will be held in Santo Domingo to analyse advances made towards the celebration of the 2003 Pan Am Games here. The Assembly is scheduled to take place at the Hotel Jaragua Renaissance on 12-15 August. Jacques Rogge, president of the International Olympic Committee, will be here for the conclusion of the event.
