The Ministry of Public Health has closed the America Research Treatment Center at Avenida Ortega y Gallet in El Vergel. The medical center operated illegally and gave treatment to terminally ill foreigners. Maritza Arbaje of the Ministry said it had been operating three years without proper authorization.
