5,000 Las Americas International passengers grounded

News reports say that 700 Dominicans are stranded in Miami awaiting the opening of US airports. More than 5,000 passengers on 46 flights were scheduled to fly out of Las Americas International Airport, Santo Domingo’s main terminal. (13 September 2001)
