"In the Time of the Butterflies", starring Salma Hayek, has been re-scheduled for release on Showtime cable TV on Sunday, 21 October at 8 pm so as not to compete with the Emmys. The movie will also air on Monday, 22 October at 9 pm. The film that tells the Mirabal Sisters’ story is based on the Julia Alvarez fictionalized version of the events that triggered the toppling of Dictator Trujillo’s regime in the DR.
