The National Youth Symphony Orchestra goes on stage today at the Patrick N. Hughson Auditorium of the Dominican-American Cultural Institute (ICDA) on Abraham Lincoln Avenue. Tonights 8 pm concert is one of four scheduled for this month. The young musicians will be conducted by Amaury Sanchez. The first concert features works by Chopin, Mozart, Julio Alberto Hernandez, Shostakovich and Borodin. Other concerts will follow on Friday, 5 October. On 29-30 October, the symphony orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Julio de Windt, former conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra.
