“Tayson” goes to court November 22

A National District court judge has issued a subpoena for the police officer known as “Tayson” to appear in court November 22. The officer, Francisco Santana Reyes, is to be questioned about the killing of Pedro Manual Contreras in Villa Francisca on September 29. El Siglo reports the 18-year-old was shot inside his home, escaped to the roof and was then followed into the street where he was “finished off” by Tayson, who has a long history of crime and of mistreating detainees including minors. He has been charged with numerous violations under the Penal Code as well as the Interamerican Human Rights Convention.
