The 2003 Pan Am Games Organizing Committee (COPAN) has approved CBC Sports of Canada as the official television broadcaster of the games. Listín Diario reports the contract is worth US$10 million. Copan executives agreed to Canada’s offer during a meeting yesterday. A Spanish broadcaster was also in the running.
