The law firm of Russin Vecchi & Heredia Bonetti has announced a strategic alliance with the firm of Martinez Aponte & Associates. Martinez Aponte will now be in charge of corporate consulting. Aponte has been Minister of Finance and Minister of Planning for the Dominican Republic in addition to years of experience working as an industrial economist and export planner for international organizations. In the private sector he has been vice president of marketing, planning and customer service for Codetel both in the Dominican Republic and at their corporate headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. His last position before his present consulting responsibilities was that of CEO of the largest privately-owned power company EGE Haina, which resulted from the privatization of the government-owned CDE (Dominican Electric Corporation).
