The National Music Conservatory presents tonight cornet player Paul Basler of the US accompanied by Dominican pianist Jacqueline Huguet. Set for Wednesday, 7 June at 8:30 pm at the Juan Francisco Garcia hall of the conservatory, the performance will feature new compositions by young Dominican composers. Basler came to the DR to give a course on classic music composing at the Conservatory, 22-31 May. The Sistema Nacional de Orquestas Sinfónicas Infantiles y Juveniles and the Conservatory sponsor the presentation.
