The Consular Section of the US Embassy and the Banco Popular announced that as of Saturday, 1 July 2000, all interested in appointments to request tourism visas to the United States should visit the branches of the Banco Popular Dominicano in the DR. Either the future traveler or an authorized representative need present the passport of the person who will travel and RD$765 in cash, certified check or bank draft to the Banco Popular Dominicano visa desk.
