Newly appointed Administrative Secretary of the Presidency, Pedro Franco Badía has been practically ambushed by PRD party members seeking jobs in the new government that starts 16 August. See http://www.hoy.com.do In a Hoy news story, Pedro Franco Badía urges PRD followers to have patience and give the new government to organize the structure of the government departments to decide on vacancies and new job openings. Meanwhile, Hoy newspaper points out that Franco Badía is already using Presidency of the Republic stationery to hand out appointments. The newspaper published a copy of the appointment of the new director of the Price Control Department on official stationery. Franco Badía signs the appointment, and specifies that he does so as Administrative Secretary-elect of the Presidency. The present government officially is not over until 16 August.
