New Navy chief was former director of Drug Control Department

President Hipólito Mejía appointed Rear Admiral Alberto Humeau Hidalgo as Chief of the Navy. Humeau Hidalgo was formerly in charge of the Drug Control Department. The Navy has been commended internationally for its efforts at combating drugs.
