Decree 741-00 creates an office for the First Lady at the National Palace. The Despacho de la Primera Dama is created so that First Lady Rosa Gómez can offer her support to plans, projects and initiatives in the areas of education, family matters, and socially sustainable development. The office will receive funds from the National Budget, international organizations and corporate donations.
