Hoy newspaper reports that an area has been set aside at the Las Americas International Airport to greet and welcome an expected 9,000 delegates and athletes upon arrival for the Pan Am Games. The first delegation scheduled to enter the country is the boxing team from Mexico, expected on Wednesday, 17 July. The special terminal has the capacity to receive up to 800 people at once.
