The director of the Economic Forecasting Center of Georgia State University, Rajeev Dhawan is scheduled to give a conference on ?New Economic Perspectives of the US and their Impact on the Caribbean and the Dominican Republic? this coming Tuesday. The Fundaci?n Global Democracia y Desarrollo and the New Horizons Corporate Group are sponsoring the conference. Former President Leonel Fern?ndez is the president of the Fundaci?n Global.
Dhawan is an expert on the behavior of economic cycles and the effect monetary policies have on small companies. He is also an advisor to government and educational centers in Atlanta, Georgia.
The conference will take place Tuesday, 22 July at 7:30 pm at the Funglode offices located at 26 Capitan Eugenio de Marchena Street, La Esperilla. The conference is open to the general public.
