France Telecom investing US$250 million

Raoul Fontanez, president of France Telecom Dominicana announced that the company is making an investment of US$250 million in its first two years and a half of which has already invested US$100 million. It has announced it will open in Santiago, La Vega, and Bonao next week. For the end of 2001, the company expects to be operating in Puerto Plata, Samana, Cabarete, San Francisco and other cities.
