The European Union’s Lom? aid program will help finance the construction of a bridge over Masacre River on the border of Haiti and the Dominican Republic, the rehabilitation of the Port of Manzanillo, on the Northwest Coast of the DR, and the construction of a highway between the frontier cities of Cap Haitien in Haiti and Dajab?n in the DR. The Lome program will provide US$35 million for the constructions.
