President of the Chamber of Deputies Hector Rafael Peguero Méndez said that the 1998 National Budget would be approved before the year is over. Peguero said that the Chamber of Deputies requested that the government reach agreements with the deputies, such as those reached with the senators, for the appoval of the budget. The bilateral commission that will study the budget is presided by president of the Senate, Amable Aristy Castro. The commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday, 2 December.
