In the presence of President Leonel Fernández, the Partido de la Liberación Dominicana announced the government party’s candidates to municipal and congressional positions on Sunday. The party held a major event at the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo to announce the winners of the candidacies. The candidates for the National District are Franklyn Almeyda, candidate to senator, and Roberto Salcedo, candidate for mayor. In the provinces the senator and mayor candidates are: La Altagracia.
