Press reports indicated that U.S. authorities arrested a Dominican, nationalized Canadian, who they accuse of hijacking a New York-Puerto Rico flight with 90 persons on board to take to Cuba in 1969. Peterson left Cuba in the 80s returning to the Dominican Republic, where he met his present wife with whom he traveled to Canada, where he was granted Canadian citizenship.
