The director of the Oficina Supervisora de Obras del Estado denounced the robbery of a computer on whose hard disk was the preliminary report of the audit of the construction of the Aeropuerto Internacional de Arroyo Barril in Samana. Engineer Euclides Sánchez of the above-mentioned office that supervises public works construction has said that the audit showed a "vulgar overvaluation" of more than RD$200 million. Builder Marcos Jorge and airport architect Fred Goico have demanded that the government prove the allegation. The computer was stolen from the National Palace, the government headquarters.
