The National Folklore Ballet announced its tour of Japan starting the first week of April. Sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the merengue dancers will render 20 presentations in 17 theaters across Japan. Profesora Josefina Miniño directs the troupe. Singer José Lacay will co-star with the group. (30 March 2000)
