Next in line is Dominican-born Manny Ramirez of the Boston Red Sox, who now earns US$20.4 million, followed by Boston Red Sox star pitcher Pedro Martinez, with US$17.5 million; Sammy Sosa, Moises Alou, and Aramis Ramirez of the Chicago Cubs with US$16.8 million, US$9.5 million, and US$6 million, respectively; Bartolo Colon and Vladimir Guerrero with the Anaheim Angels making US$11 million each; Alberto Pujols with the Seattle Mariners, making US$7 million; and Alfonso Soriano with the Texas Rangers, pulling in US$5.4 million.
