Guavaberry Country Club & Golf announced last week it will be offering lodging
at its golf club villas. Guavaberry is now targeting the family and golf crowd,
people who like to go out to eat and enjoy the variety of cuisine available at
Guayacanes and Juan Dolio restaurants. During DATE, general manager Tomas
Hungria announced that in November 2004, two polo fields will be in operation at
Guavaberry, follow up to the opening of the Equestrian Center in April.
Likewise, a spa will be open on the premises in the first quarter 2005.
Guavaberry executives also announced that two more golf courses are in the
planning stages, and will be built by the Gary Player company that was
responsible for the first Guavaberry course.
