The cable car ride to the top of Loma Isabel de Torres has once again become one of the North Coast’s top attractions, following repair work costing RD$20 million. The only cable car in the DR was out of service for 45 days during which time its cables were replaced. The work was carried out by the Ministry of Tourism and the Cable Car Board of Trustees. Listin Diario reports that this is the third time the cables have been replaced since 1975.
