Golf course architect Tom Fazio was in Punta Cana recently to decide on final details for the new Oceanfront Championship Golf Course he has been entrusted with at the Punta Cana Resort & Club. Construction is scheduled to begin this summer on the resort’s second golf course. The new course will have seven holes overlooking the Caribbean Sea and is located in the exclusive residential area of Corales. The Punta Cana Group reports that once more, the Seashore Paspalum variety of grass will be used, that is resistant to salt-water spray and environmentally-friendly.
