Spirit prepares for hurricane season

Spirit Airlines, the leading low fare carrier between the US and the Caribbean, reaffirms its 2006 Hurricane Buster Protection policy, and introduces this year’s sale names along with its Spirit-Sale Scale, and provides a sale preparedness guide for its customers. The hurricane program enables customers to make changes to reservations without a change fee if there is a hurricane watch in effect for their origin or destination airport during hurricane season, 1 June through 15 November. The company also is announcing a Spirit-Sale Scale with round trip fare discounts based on the hurricane’s intensity. A Category One Sale is US$101-US$299 each way. Category Two Sale: US$71-US$100 each way. Category Three Sale is US$30-US$70 each way. Category Four Sale: US$10-US$29 each way. Category Five Sale: US$9 and under each way.
