Punta Goleta sales start

Punta Goleta, 40-year pioneer of tourism in Cabarete, has gone upscale. The Noboa family launched sales of its first phase 82,600 lineal meter beachfront apartment section last week, becoming the first major resort & condo option in the area. Tourism consultant Victor Cabral handled the re-launch of the Cabarete beach site.

Punta Goleta is located on the western edge of Cabarete, approximately two kms from the bustling center of stores and restaurants in the windsurfing & kiteboarding community. The project integrates the southern part of the development, with more condominiums planned for future stages, reaching up to the Cabarete Lagoon, where the breezes that feed into the beach come from.

The apartments have been designed with a view of Cabarete beach, and many feature infinity glass in the dining room or bedrooms. A rental pool will be available to the owners.

Architect Eric Michelen describes the apartments as open, bringing the outdoors in. “What I have tried to do is to bring the beach inside the apartments, which are spacious and uncluttered,” he explains. He has chosen tropical elements, such as coralina, but emphasizes the apartments come with modern lines present in the abundant use of glass and illumination. Washington Lithgow has been entrusted with adding the green in the garden elements. Studio apartments range are available for US$171,000-225,000, One-bedroom apartments from US$315,000-US$375,000; two bedrooms from US$390,000-US$536,000 and three bedrooms from US$815,000 to US$1,227,000. Apartments range from 47 meters to 281 square meters.
