Salvadorean airline Taca is now selling seats for its direct Peru-Santo Domingo connection, three times a week non-stop starting 1 July. Taca general manager Queti de Leon says that the direct route is in response to demand from business travelers and opens doors for travel to the DR by Peruvians and Dominicans to Peru. She recommends Peru’s pre-hispanic cultural heritage, colonial cities, excellent gastronomy and attractive events all year round for making a visit to the Andean country. Very attractive rates from Santo Domingo to Lima are being offered for the start of the service.
