Paso Fino champions visit

Some of the best paso fino horses in the Americas will travel to Santiago for the First Las Americas Classic of Paso Fino horses. Paso fino horses are known for the smoothest ride of all. Competitors are coming from seven countries.

The president of the National Equestrian Association (Asena), Arnulfo Gutierrez and Mario Heinsen, president of the Dominican Paso Fino Association (Adopaso) announced the event that will take place from 3 to 5 July at the Gran Arena del Cibao in Santiago.

Horses will come from Aruba, Curacao, Venezuela, Panama, Colombia, Puerto Rico, US and DR.

Coming for the event is Joyero, the world champion. He will compete against Carnaval de Retorno, the Dominican champion. Others coming are Aurora de HH, Humildad del Abuelo, Magistrado de Vitrina, 30-30, Sucesos de NJ, Gaudi and La Mascara.

The competition will be followed by breeding these world famous horses with local mares, as reported in Hoy.
