The Hispaniola 360 Challenge Regatta is scheduled to start on 18 November. The regatta involves 16 days of sailing, with stops at the leading ports and marinas of the Dominican Republic. Tito Borrell, president of CLM Yacht Service is the organizer of the event. The event will sail off from the Santo Domingo Yacht Club with stops in Casa de Campo, Cap Cana, Puerto Bahia (Samana), Ocean World (Puerto Plata), Montecristi Yacht Club, Ile La Vache (Haiti), Bahia de las Aguilas and Isla Beata (Pedernales), Salinas (Peravia) with the final stop back at the Santo Domingo Yacht Club. This route covers a total of 1,300 nautical miles. The event is being sponsored by the Los Cocos Wind Farm.
