Festival de Santo Domingo, sponsored by Presidente Beer, is scheduled to kick off the holiday partying season in Santo Domingo on Sunday, 4 December. Starting at 5pm, five platforms are planned for 8kms of the city’s oceanfront boulevard the Malecon to keep people dancing all night long with free live performances of merengue, reggaeton, salsa, dembow, bachata and rock. Luis Medrano is the promoter of the show that will put around 70 musicians on stage. The list of performers includes Sergio Vargas, Fernando Villalona, Eddy Herrera, Miriam Cruz, Ramon Orlando, Kinito Mendez, Rubby Perez, Tono Rosario, Omega, Juliana, el Jeffrey, Secreto, Pablo Piddy, la Materialista, el Prodigio, Krisspy, el Gringo de la bachata, Fefita la grande, Joseito Mateo, el Lapiz, MC Joa, Pochy y la Coco Band.
