Follow the storms in the Caribbean

Tourists planning to visit during the peak season for hurricanes in the Caribbean would be well advised to monitor the storms. However, for adventurers, experiencing a tropical storm is one of the most outstanding spectacles. And there is always the possibility of the storm moving further south. Nothing in weather forecasting is written in stone. The DR1 Weather & Beyond Forum specifically follows weather as related to the Dominican Republic.

The closest storm to the DR, Tropical Depression #9 is now crossing south of the country and it forecast to bring heavy rainfalls on Friday as the storm passes south of the Dominican Republic. By then it is expected to have become a category 1 Hurricane.
