Juan Luis Guerra on European tour

Have a Juan Luis Guerra memory ringing in your mind? The leading Dominican musician and performer is going on tour of Europe with stops in France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and England, plus Israel in October.

Guerra will perform at the Zenith in Paris on 5 October, on 8 October he will be in Brussels to play at the Cirque Royal, on 10 October he will be at the Star Event Center in Hannover, on 12 October he will be at the Ahoy in Rotterdam, and he appears at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Monday, 14 October.

Juan Luis Guerra will also be performing in Israel for the first time on 16 October 2013. He will perform his “A Son de Guerra” show during a concert at Tel Aviv’s Nokia Arena. He will then go on a personal tour of Israel.

Juan Luis Guerra and his 4.40 band have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, won two Grammy awards and 17 Latin Grammys, including one last year for best Contemporary Tropical Album. His big band style blending merengue, bachata and bolero with an Afro-pop/Latin fusion has gained him huge success across the Spanish-speaking world.

His eleventh and latest studio album, “A Son De Guerra”, debuted at number one on the iTunes Latin chart in the US, Spain and Mexico on its first day and went on to reach No. 1 on the overall chart in Spain and Colombia ultimately winning a Latin Grammy for Album of the Year, the second time he has achieved that particular feat. The album features a duet with Colombian star Juanes on the song “La Calle”.
