Breathless Punta Cana opens in Uvero Alto

President Danilo Medina was in Uvero Alto on Saturday, 2 November for the inauguration of the adults-only 750-suites Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa. Minister of Tourism Francisco Javier Garcia, Spanish ambassador Jaime Lacadena and Spain’s Minister of Tourism Jose Maria Soria were also present, along with Grumasa president Enrique Martinon and BHD president Luis Molina Achecar. Federico Gonzalez Tejeda of NH Hoteles and Alejandro Zozaya, president of Grupo AMResorts represented the management and marketing team.

Guests who attended the opening were entertained by Kourtney Kardashian and husband Scott Disick, Spanish flamenco singer Pitingo and a closing concert by popular Dominican singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra on Tuesday evening.

The complex was built by the Martinon group but the management and marketing of the resort is being handled by NH hotels and AMResort

Martinon has invested in Secrets Royal Beach, Now Larimar and Breathless, for a total of 2,000 hotel rooms in Punta Cana.
