A slight earthquake was felt in Santo Domingo yesterday, Tuesday 20 May at 5:07pm. The earthquake registered a magnitude of 4.0 on the Richter scale and its epicenter was five kilometers west of Samana Bay off the northeastern coast of the DR. Andres Moreta of the UASD Seismological Institute said it occurred at a depth of seven kilometers.
