The new director of the National Salaries Committee, Felix Hidalgo Polanco says that he will be holding his first meeting with other members of the government-employers-labor representatives this week to evaluate requests for a salary increase. The labor representatives are asking for a 30% across-the-board increase in wages, both for the public and private sector.
