President Danilo Medina is attending the opening ceremony of the 10th Annual Meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) in New York City today, Monday, 22 September 2014. The event brings together over 1,000 leaders from the business, civil society, government and philanthropic sectors to take action on global challenges. The 2014 annual theme – “Reimagining Impact” – seeks to guide CGI members towards measuring and assessing the outcomes of their work more effectively, and in rethinking how they can create added value.
Medina is scheduled to return to the DR on Wednesday, 24 September.
