Those left out seek way in

As reported in Hoy, Enmanuel Esquea Guerrero has requested that the Supreme Court of Justice study the petition made by the three pre-candidates opposing the Mejia re-election effort, so that they may still run in the 16 May election. The three want to choose among themselves a political candidate to be registered with the Central Electoral Board (JCE). The JCE deadline for the registration of parties’ candidates has already expired. Esquea Guerrero says that they will not take their grievances to the JCE Chamber of Disputes because of the fact the board has shown a strong predisposition to favor the PPH faction that supports President Mejia’s aims to be re-elected. The PRD President, and most outspoken opponent of re-election for President Mejia, Hatuey Decamps, told Hoy newspaper that the judges Salvador Ramos, Jose Luis Tavarez and Ramon Antonio Hernandez Dominguez are part of a PPH committee in the JCE and do and undo motions as they please.
