Senator Amable Aristy Castro, who announced his resignation from the opposition PRSC party last week, has confirmed that he will now be leading the Partido Liberal de la Republica Dominicana La Estructura (PLRD). The party, which was headed by Andres Vanderhorst, was originally created in 1982 to serve as a propaganda movement to promote the political aspirations of Jacobo Majluta and was known as La Estructura.
