Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli is booked for his second performance at Altos de Chavon, Casa de Campo in La Romana. His melodic voice has enchanted thousands of music lovers who marvel at the talent of this man, who is blind.
He will be the star attraction of the Easter holidays when he appears on Saturday, 4 April 2014. Casa de Campo vice president Leandro Cruz made the announcement. Tickets will cost US$100 to US$700.
In his last performance in the DR, Bocelli disappointed the crowd because he did not sing songs in Spanish and shared the stage with other singers and the orchestra.
Bocelli is known for his renditions of classical and pop music.
