The 4-8 March 2015 poll carried out by Penn Shoen & Berland for Hoy and Noticias SIN shows that the country’s only popular politician is President Danilo Medina. Medina has a 74% favorable ranking, with a 14% negative ranking.
The others, in order of their popularity ranking, are: Luis Abinader (25% positive, 52% negative), Hipolito Mejia (26% positive, 58% negative), Leonel Fernandez (22% positive, 65% negative), Guillermo Moreno (18% positive, 61% negative), Francisco Dominguez Brito (12% positive, 64% negative), Amable Aristy (9% positive, 67% negative), Minou Tavarez Mirabal (5% positive, 69% negative), Eduardo Estrella (7% positive, 72% negative) and Miguel Vargas Maldonado (6% positive 82% negative).
The poll had a sample size of 1,049 eligible voters.
