The Attorney General Office accused former police officers from the Police Anti-Narcotics Central Department of complicity in the robbery of 950 kilos of cocaine, yesterday, Tuesday 21 April 2015. The accused are former Dican director Carlos Fernandez Valerio, head of operations Felix Humberto Paulino and Luciano Gomez Cabrera. Raidiris Garcia, Antolin de los Santos, Babaro Torres Beltran, Pedro Almanzar, Agapito Munoz, Cecilia Castillo and Santo Domingo prosecutors Maximo Diaz Ogando and Ramon Veras Castro have also been arrested and are awaiting trial for complicity in the operation.
