Demetrio Lluberes Vizcaino, the administrator of the State Corporation for Dominican Hydroelectricity Generation (EgeHID) has announced six new projects in Santiago with a budget of over RD$154 million.
The road from the Tavera Dam to the Caimito crossroads will be rebuilt and paved, the access road to the Bao Dam and the Angostura Hydroelectric Central will be rebuilt along with two houses in the Tavera Hydroelectric compound Stage 2, and two more in Stage 3 as well as the construction of a kitchen-dining room and a meeting room.
At the project inauguration event, Lluberes Vizcaino was accompanied by Santiago senator Julio Cesar Valentin, Sabana Iglesia mayor Pablo Batista and EgeHID board chairman Mario Fernandez Savinon.
