Dominicans arrested trying to reach Puerto Rico

Fourteen Dominican immigrants were arrested yesterday, Monday 11 May 2015 off the northwest coast of Puerto Rico, for attempting to make an illegal entry.

Puerto Rican police say that a suspicious boat was spotted shortly before 10am near the coast of Barrero de Rincon. Members of the Maritime Unit investigated and together with a United States Frontier Patrol, arrested the people on board.
