It used to be said that one could not hold a public post to be a member of the influential PLD Political Committee. However, everything has changed and an overwhelming majority of 30 of the 35 Political Committee members now hold key government posts.
Meanwhile, PRM presidential candidate, Luis Abinader has criticized the fact that most government officials are dedicating long hours to re-election or politics, which is affecting the flow of government and national affairs.
